The St. Louis Cardinals nipped the Washington Nationals 3 to 2 at Busch
Stadium in a hard fought contest.

In the bottom of the 5th inning St. Louis scored 2 runs. The critical plate
appearance was by Yadier Molina who brought the crowd to their feet when he
blasted a two-run home run (his 4th of the season). Both teams ended up with
6 hits on the night.

Anthony Reyes*(4-3) got the win allowing 2 runs in 6 innings. Jason
Isringhausen recorded the save, his 11th. The loss was charged to Micah
Bowie(2-2). He was stingy with the baserunners, allowing just 4 hits and no
