Such is the case in the Nats 8 run 7th in what would end up being a laugher over the Reds. Ryan Church was the pinch hitter, he singled (and eventually scored) as the 2nd batter of the inning and also ended up making the 3rd out of the inning. Left fielder Ryan Langerhans launched 2 homeruns and had 4 RBI at Great
American Bpk where the Washington Nationals beat the Cincinnati Reds by the
score of 12 to 5.
Langerhans had a big evening at the plate. He smashed a solo-shot out of the
park in the 5th inning and rifled a three-run blast (his 4th of the season)
in the 7th inning. For the game Washington out-hit Cincinnati 15 to 12.
Billy Traber(1-0) got the win allowing no runs in 2/3 of an inning. Bronson
Arroyo(1-7) took the loss. He pitched 6 innings giving up 8 hits and 3
walks.
