David Ortiz blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI at Ameriquest Field as the Boston
Red Sox beat the Texas Rangers by the count of 10 to 2.

Ortiz provided the offensive punch. He cleared the fences for a two-run home
run in the 3rd inning and smashed a bases-empty 'big-fly' (his 11th of the
season) in the 8th inning. Texas was out-hit by Boston, 11 hits to 7.
