At Turner Field the Washington Nationals were battered 10 to 5 by the Atlanta
Braves.

Chipper Jones had a good evening at the plate. He bombed a two-run dinger
(his 32nd of the season) in the 7th inning and doubled with all three runners
coming home in the 8th inning. Atlanta had 10 hits for the night.

The victory was credited to Jose Ascanio(1-0) who went 2 innings, allowing no
runs. Saul Rivera(6-4) suffered the loss in relief. He allowed 4 runs and 2
hits in 1 inning.
