| Ronnie Belliard comes through with the winning hit in extra innings for the second straight day. Fortunately for the Nats bullpen, this time he does it in the 10th inning, instead of the 20th. Ryan Zimmerman led off the 10th with a double, but Dmitri Young hit a fly out and Austin Kearns popped out. The Marlins intentionally walked Wily Mo Pena, who had homered earlier in the game, which brought up Belliard, who doubled to bring in Zimmerman with the winning run. Chad Cordero gets the win after pitching a scoreless 10th; he was the only bullpen pitcher that didn't appear in yesterday's 20 inning marathon. |
