At US Cellular Field the Chicago (AL) White Sox outscored the Boston Red Sox 4
to 1.

Chicago (AL) set the tone of the game in the first inning when they tallied 3
runs on 3 hits. That early scoring was all that Javier Vazquez(13-7) needed.
Chicago (AL) banged out 8 hits on the afternoon.

Vazquez got help from Bobby Jenks who was credited with his 33rd save. Julian
Tavarez(11-6) was the losing pitcher. He allowed 5 hits and 1 walk in 6
innings.
