Jon Lester struck out 10 batters as the Boston Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay
Devil Rays by a score of 1 to 0.
Lester(2-1) was tremendous on the mound for Boston. He allowed just 3 hits
and 1 walk in 8 innings lowering his ERA to 3.22. Jonathan Papelbon was
great in relief and recorded his 37th save.
Andy Sonnanstine(3-8) was charged with the loss. 'Everything felt great'
Lester said. 'I had a good fastball, I felt I could throw it by everybody
tonight.'
