| The Nationals get outhit by the Phillies, but make the most of their 4 hits and take a 4-3 win. The Nats used very different tactics in their 2 scoring innings - in the 2nd, 2 runs scored on ground balls, while the 2 runs in the 4th scored on back-to-back bombs from Dmitri Young and Ryan Church. The Phillies pulled within one in the 8th, but the Chad Cordero adventure has a positive outcome this time, a 1-2-3 inning for his 18th save. |
