In a two run game the Chicago (AL) White Sox got by the Boston Red Sox by the
score of 4 to 2.
Chicago (AL) came up with 2 runs in the top of the 6th inning with the help of
3 hits. The critical plate appearance was by Josh Fields who silenced the
stadium when he bombed a two-run dinger (his 15th of the season). Bobby
Jenks pitched a perfect ninth to earn his 23rd save.
John Danks(5-7) went 5 and 1/3 innings allowing 1 run for the win. Kason
Gabbard(4-1) suffered the loss. He surrendered 6 hits and 2 walks in 6
innings.
