Right fielder Ryan Spilborghs went yard as the amazing Colorado Rockies
defeated the Washington Nationals by a score of 2 to 1 at RFK
STADIUM.
Colorado scored 1 run in the 7th inning. After an out was recorded,
Spilborghs ripped a solo home run (his 6th of the season). Latroy Hawkins
earned the save with a perfect ninth, his 4th save.
Rodrigo Lopez(4-4) was the winner allowing 1 run in 6 and 2/3 innings. Mike
Bacsik(1-4) was given the loss. He gave up 5 hits and no walks in 6 and 1/3
innings.
