| The Nationals earn their 2nd straight win over the Reds in their last at bat, this time on a Dmitri Young home run to lead off the 9th. The real story of the game was the 8th inning Nats rally that wasn't...with the score tied at 2, Felipe Lopez singles and is moved to 2nd when Ronnie Belliard walks. With their 3-4-5 hitters due up, it looks like the Nats might do some damage, but instead Ryan Zimmerman lines sharply to the third baseman. The third baseman wings it to 2nd to catch Lopez off, then the ball goes to 1st where Belliard is out to complete the triple play! |
