Right fielder Xavier Nady hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI at PNC Park as
the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Washington Nationals 5 to 3.
Ian Snell(8-2) had a solid outing for Pittsburgh. He surrendered 5 hits and 2
walks in 6 innings. Washington was retired without difficulty in the 9th.
Tony Armas Jr gained credit for his 1st save. Matt Chico(6-6) suffered the
loss. He allowed 5 runs and 10 hits in 5 and 2/3 innings.
