Fausto Carmona(5-5) and Micah Bowie(3-4) treated the Washington fans to a fine
pitching duel at RFK STADIUM. The Cleveland Indians eventually emerged as
victors over the Washington Nationals by the score of 2 to 1.

Cleveland took the lead for good in the 2nd inning plating an isolated run.
Ryan Garko singled, and an error was also committed. Josh Barfield dug into
the batters box next, but he struck out. After another out, Carmona came to
the plate and reached on an error scoring the run. Cleveland had only 3 hits
for the night.

Joe Borowski recorded the save, his 14th.
