Troy Glaus connected with a 'big fly' and had 4 RBI at Rogers Centre as the
Toronto Blue Jays beat the Washington Nationals by the count of 8 to
6.

Glaus had a good day at the plate. He cleared the fences for a two-run home
run (his 15th of the season) in the 4th inning and doubled which was good for
two runs in the 6th inning. Washington had a chance to come back in the 9th
but they came up short.

Josh Towers(3-3) got the win allowing 5 runs in 8 and 2/3 innings. Micah
Bowie(3-3) was the loser. He gave up 6 runs in 5 innings of work. 'It
wasn't my best outing, but I'll take the win' Towers said.
