No four homer game this time, in fact no Red Sox homers, but a 4 run 6th inning is enough to carry the Sox to a 6-2 win in Arizona. Former Red Sox pitcher Brandon Lyon was the catalyst, entering the game with runners on 1st and 2nd with one out then allowing a single to load the bases and a Coco Crisp double to score 2 runs to break the 2-2 tie. He would then commit a balk which would score another runner, and Big Papi would hit a sac fly to score the 6th run.

Julian Tavarez once again pitches well enough to win and is proving to be a valuable member of the starting rotation. His 6 wins equal the total of teammates Curt Schilling and Daisuke Matsuzaka, who both make a LOT more money than Julian.

Oh and check out who hit a homer for the DBacks, his 5th of the year...Micah Owings!
