At Metrodome the Boston Red Sox easily handled the Minnesota Twins by the
score of 6 to 2.
Minnesota never recovered after Boston took the lead in the top of the 7th
inning scoring one runner using 2 hits. Boston had 10 hits for the night.
Curt Schilling(3-2) went 6 innings allowing 2 runs for the win. Sidney
Ponson(1-4) absorbed the loss. He pitched 6 innings and surrendered 7 hits
and 4 walks.
