The Nationals take the rubber game of their 3 game series with the Marlins, earning Jason Simontacchi his first win of the season in the process. Simontacchi did not exactly pitch well, giving up 9 hits and 3 runs in 5 2/3 innings of work. Fortunately, the Nats bats were alive to back him up - every starter except for CF Nook Logan got at least one hit, with 15 total for the team. Felipe Lopez went 4 for 5, Christian Guzman went 2 for 4, and Ryan Church went 3 for 5 with a homer.
